Booking vaccines for ages 5 to 11
You can book online starting Nov. 23 at 8am through Ontario.ca/bookvaccine or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900. Appointments can also be booked directly through public health units that use their own booking system, Indigenous-led vaccination clinics and participating pharmacies. Walk-in or pop-up vaccine clinics may also be available in some public health unit – contact your public health unit to learn more.

Visit the SickKids website to learn more about the CARD system: Comfort, Ask, Relax, Distract. The CARD system provides strategies that can be used to help cope before and during vaccination. The system consists of resources such as videos and handouts that will help to prepare you and your child for a vaccination.

Sick Kids COVID-19 Vaccine Consult Line: Parents, caregivers and children are encouraged to call the Provincial Vaccine Confidence Line that can be accessed by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900, or visit COVID-19 Vaccine Consult Service to book a confidential phone appointment with a SickKids clinician.

Age 5+ can get a COVID vaccine through the pharmacy.

Which vaccine? It doesn't matter! All 3 vaccines approved by Health Canada are effective and safe and ALL significantly reduce the risk of severe infection, hospitalization, and death. Studies are now showing that vaccinated individuals are also MUCH less likely to spread covid19 to other un-vaccinated individuals.
